Story:
Peggy Sawyer arrives in New York City from Allenstown, PA with hopes of becoming a Broadway star. Facing adversity from all directions, the young but talented performer learns about show business and discovers which relationships are most important in life. With highs and lows in her early career, Peggy experiences growth as both a performer and a young woman.
