GYPSY
 


Mama Rose is determined to escape from a life of paying rent by pushing the career of her younger daughter June. After June elopes, Mama focuses all her attention on her older, less talented daughter, Loise, who eventually becomes a burlesque stripper named Gypsy Rose Lee and Mama realizes she is no longer needed in her daughter's career.
