LES MISERABLES
 


Jean Valjean, an ex-con, has become mayor and runs a factory. When he discovers that one of his workers, Fantine, has had a child (Cosette) he fires her, and she is forced to become a whore. Valjean's past is revealed when he tries to help Fantine, so he runs from Javert, the chief of police. Nine years later, Cosette, who has been raised by Valjean, has fallen in love with Marius, a fighter in the revolution. With Javert on the hunt and a revolution tearing the city apart, everyone is forced to decide what they will do for love.
