Sexist Ball and Food

This Minne-Adventure begins with val and taj watching a softball game at Lake Nakomis Park. This beautiful park is generally filled with different baseball/softball teams throughout the week on it's 12 baseball diamonds. There is also a playground for the younger crowd as well as a small food shop.



The girls quickly learn that this is not a normal game of softball. In this game there are only two strikes and three balls. That's not too weird the girls thought. Speeds the game along. However, it did concern the girls that when boys get walked, they got to take two bases, and when girls get walked they only get to take one base! Girls also get a smaller ball to hit because apparently girls can't hit either. val and taj were skeptical.



As the game neared its end, the coach approached val and asked if she was ready to play...
